These listed terms and conditions apply to the use of the David’s Country Store Site.
By accessing our Site and/or placing an order you thereby agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
1. Dispatch
We can offer no guarantee of availability when placing an order although every effort is continually made to ensure that all items shown on our website are in stock. This electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Goods are normally despatched within 24 hours. We may, from time to time, part-ship your order when an item is out of stock. If we are unable to despatch your order within 7 days we will attempt to contact you via email with an estimated despatch date. We will always keep you informed by email if there is any delay in shipment.
Where you decide to leave delivery instructions for an item to be left without the need for a signature, Davids Country Store accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to the order, where we are satisfied that our carrier has delivered the items as instructed.
All damaged goods or shortages to your order must be notified within 7 days of the delivery date.
2. Cancellations and Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with our goods your legal right, under the SafeBuy code, to cancel the contract has been extended from 7 to 14 days of receipt .Please return the goods to receive either a full refund of your monies or replacement goods ( less cost of your postage). Please write or e-mail us before you return the goods, describing why you are returning them and why

3. Prices and VAT
Unless specified, all prices shown for goods exclude postage and packing. Charges for postage and packing are shown in the Checkout prior to confirming your order. The price you pay includes VAT@ 17.5% for all deliveries within the European Union. For deliveries outside the EU (including The Channel Islands) VAT will be deducted from the total price.
4. Colours & Descriptions
Please note that the colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on our website due to limitations of browser software and monitors. We also describe our goods for sale as accurately as possible and cannot be held responsible for any minor changes in measurement or style made by the manufacturer.
5. Confidentiality
All confidential information including credit card details are held secure by Worldpay and are only transmitted in encrypted form. Please note that we never know your credit card details so we are unable to make additions unless you contact us by telephone or order again through the website. Our customer’s details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
6. Disclaimer
David’s Country Store ( our trading name) has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this web site. To the extent permitted by applicable law David’s Country Store disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. David’s Country Store shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including legal fees) that may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.
7. Jurisdiction
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
8. Consumer Rights
None of the above Terms and Conditions affect your statutory consumer rights.
9. Vouchers
When a David’s Country Store Voucher is presented in payment for goods we will refund the value in sterling back to the customer’s credit/debit card following receipt of your order.
10. Returned Parcels by Carrier
Where our carrier has attempted to deliver on TWO occasions without any success, and ourselves or our carrier have be unable to contact you either by telephone or email then the parcel will automatically be returned to us after 7 days. Should you require the parcel to be re-delivered an additional delivery charge of £5.95 will apply. Where an order is cancelled and returned by the courier, we reserve the right to make an administative charge of £10.
11. Re-Direction of Order to different delivery address.
Where a parcel was originally requested to be delivered to an elected address and then following dispatch, you then you request for the parce lto sent to another address (dealt with by another Fedex depot). A re-direction charge of £8.95 is required should this service by required.
12. International Orders
The recipient accepts responsibility for all bill transportation charges, Customs duties and taxes.
