Our business recognises the importance of reducing our impact on the environment. We believe that we need to protect the Earth’s natural resources and help to reduce climate change. With some of our business activities such as transport and electricity we have offset our CO2 emissions with Climate Care scheme, which we believe is the best available option at present for managing and partially offsetting these CO2 liabilities. The Climate Care Fund supports a variety of CO2 reduction projects around the world and is an excellent repair service for climate change. Climate Care work is guided by the Environmental Steering Committee.

Where possible, we only source wooden products that have been approved by The Forest Stewardship Council. FSC wood products are sourced from well managed forests that maintain the forests biodiversity, productivity and ecological processes. Forest management provides strong incentives to local people and helps them to sustain the forest resources through long-term management plans.

We have changed our business electricity to Business Go Greener Electricity by Powergen which is only sourced from hydro and wind energy schemes by renewable sources and do not create harmful emissions. We believe that the Business Go Greener scheme is now the 'greenest' electricity product for businesses in the UK
